Charlotte's First Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!!

Charlotte's onesie says "All Mommy wants for Christmas is a Silent Night" and she is doing such a good job of providing us those. Well, except for the 1 or 2 am pacifier requests. That's ok though! We'll take 9-11 hours!!

Sitting in front of her very own pink Christmas tree!

Precious baby girl had quite the first Christmas! We were all over DFW and she LOVED every minute of it. Charlotte is so happy when we are constantly on the go. She doesn't nap very well while we're out and about, but thankfully, Charlotte is usually pretty content as long as she has faces to smile at and people to "talk" to. Baby girl is spoiled beyond belief! Santa and family bestowed lots of gifts!! Her very first cabbage patch doll, cute clothes to grow into, first Christmas ornaments, lots of snuggly stuffed animals (in her favorite black and white colors) and lots of light up toys that keep her attention for longer than five seconds.

Who doesn't want a miniature Toby the yorkie?? Charlotte definitely approved!

Smiling at her first purse! Looks like someone is taking after her momma!!

Hello Reese the Cabbage Patch. I loved my CPK dolls and I hope she shares the same love.

Just chilling with Birdie. She makes a good pillow. And, she may or may not be watching the Cowboys game at this moment. Oh, stop judging...it was for like 1 minute. ;)

As many of you know, we lost our dear Gee, my grandmother, on December 18th. She battled cancer very, very bravely but our Lord had mercy on her and called her home just in time for Christmas in heaven. What a blessing and yet it was hard on all of those still here. We still celebrated at her home which she had decorated so beautifully. It was hard to open gifts that she had lovingly wrapped for us before she went to the hospital, but we have the promise that we will see her again (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17). I'll thank her then. Praise the Lord!

I hope that each of you had a meaningful Christmas...one surrounded by those you love and keeping your eye on Him. Thank you Father for the gift of your Son!
